Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The prerequisite for an application is a completed apprenticeship or degree as a nursing professional in the country of origin. Furthermore, you should be willing to meet the linguistic and professional requirements necessary for working in Deutschland. Professional experience is an advantage, but not mandatory. Motivation, reliability, and openness are particularly important for a successful start in Deutschland.

We handle all administrative tasks completely.

This includes, among other things, applying for the deficit notice, the application for preliminary approval, the Visa-Beantragung, further Behördengänge, planning the entry including airport pick-up, the entire onboarding (bank card, insurances, SIM card, Wohnsitzanmeldung, Steuer-ID, personnel questionnaire and preparation of the hiring documents), the Wohnungssuche and furnishing. This allows the applicants to fully concentrate on their berufliche Zukunft and linguistic further education, while we reliably accompany every step and ensure a smooth process.

For facilities and employers:
After the employment contract is signed, the average lead time until entry and Arbeitsaufnahme is around 4 to 6 months. During this time, we coordinate all required steps, including the recognition and visa procedures as well as the administrative processes.

For nursing professionals:
The time until Arbeitsaufnahme depends primarily on the individual language level. Job interviews with German facilities usually take place as soon as a B1 certificate is available. For entry in Deutschland and starting work, a B2 certificate is generally required. Until reaching B2 language level, many applicants need around 10 to 12 months, depending on their individual prerequisites.

Throughout the entire process, we personally support our nursing professionals and assist them with all key steps to enable a successful start in Deutschland.

Our placement process is clearly structured and supports both our clients and our Pflegefachkraf from the initial contact through to well beyond the Arbeitsaufnahme.

1. Needs analysis

At the outset, we work with the facility to assess staffing needs. For this purpose, we provide a checklist that records, among other things, requirements for applicants, information about the facility, contact persons, working conditions and remuneration.

2. Selection of suitable Pflegefachkraf

Based on our clients’ requirements, we select suitable Pflegefachkraf.

We then present the respective facility to the applicants using a detailed checklist. This includes, among other things, information about:

  • the facility,
  • the area of work,
  • remuneration,
  • the place of assignment,
  • the housing situation,
  • local contact persons, as well as
  • other important general conditions.

This gives the Pflegefachkraf a comprehensive impression of their potential future workplace and enables them to decide independently whether they would like to apply to this facility. Only after their consent do we arrange the online application interview with the client.

3. Interviews

After the pre-selection, online interviews take place between the facilities and the Pflegefachkraf. After a successful selection, the employment contract is drawn up.

4. Recognition and visa process

After the employment contract has been concluded, we coordinate all further steps – from recognition of the professional qualification and the visa process through to the required official approvals. The average lead time until entry is around 4 to 6 months.

5. Arrival and onboarding

After entry, our personal onboarding begins. Our Pflegefachkraf stay in our fully equipped apartments on our company premises for the first 7 to 14 days. During this time, we provide intensive support with all key steps, including:

  • Registration with the authorities
  • Bank account and insurance
  • Organisational preparations for starting work
  • Introduction to everyday life in Deutschland
  • Preparation for starting at the facility

Afterwards, the Pflegefachkraf move into their apartment near their new employer.

6. Support after the Arbeitsaufnahme

Even after the start of work, we remain a point of contact for our Pflegefachkraf and our clients. We support integration, assist with residence-law matters and conduct regular feedback meetings.

Our goal is sustainable integration – transparent, professional and personally supported.

We organize the Wohnungssuche and furnishing, if desired, so that the specialists can move directly into a ready-to-occupy home upon their arrival in Deutschland. This eliminates the initial uncertainty and creates a stable environment for a successful start from the beginning. If required, we also provide support with all questions relating to the relocation and settling in. The apartments are located near the clinic (max. 25-30 minutes on foot).

Our Pflegefachkraf generally only travel to Deutschland after successfully completing the B2 language level.

Online application interviews with the facilities usually take place from the B1 language level onwards. After a successful offer, we begin with the further steps of the recognition and visa process. Entry then takes place after fulfilling the required prerequisites and successfully obtaining the B2 certificate.

Through this approach, we ensure that our Pflegefachkraf are optimally prepared both linguistically and professionally for their working day in Deutschland.

Placement by CareVisionCompany is commission-free for Pflegefachkräfte. We do not charge any placement fees to our applicants.

After admission to our placement program, we conclude a separate contract with each Pflegefachkraf. This contract regulates which costs incurred during preparation will be reimbursed after successful entry and Arbeitsaufnahme in Deutschland.

These may include, in particular:

  • Costs for language courses,
  • Fees for language examinations,
  • Costs for the translation and certification of required documents,
  • Fees related to the application for the recognition notice, as well as
  • Further agreed and proven expenses in the placement process.

Reimbursement will be made in accordance with the contractual agreements upon presentation of corresponding official invoices or proofs of payment.

Our goal is a fair and transparent placement process where Pflegefachkräfte do not have to bear any placement fees.
